30/3/2020 Al-Zayani: Complete the electronic system for filing civil and commercial lawsuits of all degrees

Dana Al-Zayani, Undersecretary for Family Planning, Conciliation and Expenditure at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, revealed the completion of the electronic system for litigation filing services, as part of the strategic project for digital transformation that the Ministry of Justice began implementing years ago, in cooperation with the Supreme Judicial Council and the Information and eGovernment Authority.
The attorney general for family planning, conciliation and alimony said that the completion of this project will pave the way for a major transformation at the level of the judicial services, as it will allow all civil and commercial lawsuits to be filed in the first degree, as well as in the appeals phase, and appeals before the Court of Cassation, including all stages of the case from submitting notes And exchange them, requests and responding to them during the course of the case, leading to the issuance of judicial decisions, all in an electronic form within an integrated system.
Dana Al-Zayani pointed out that the work team at the Ministry's Information Systems Department, and in joint work with the Information and eGovernment Authority, worked on preparing the technical infrastructure for the information system and electronic services and preparing the necessary software, noting that the system is ready for launch and starting work with it.
Professor Dana Al-Zayani affirmed that the Ministry will continue to expand its electronic transformation projects aimed at keeping pace with the digital development witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain, and achieving the requirements of Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030, which is based on the principles of sustainability, competitiveness and justice, based on the keenness to develop the services provided to citizens and residents, increase their quality and raise the efficiency of performance. .
Professor Dana Al-Zayani pointed out that the ministry is continuously following up on the proposals of the lawyers and auditors to develop the electronic system, noting that the doors of the ministry are open to study any development ideas derived from practical reality and through continuous communication with the lawyers, led by the Bahrain Bar Association.
And renewed urging the lawyers, litigants and reviewers to take advantage of the electronic justice services that are currently available through the national e-government portal, especially those associated with the courts and enforcement departments.
The Attorney General for Family Planning, Reconciliation and Expenditure expressed her deep thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Information and e-Government Authority and the continuous technical support it provides, which resulted in the realization of many electronic projects in the justice sector.
