2/11/2020 The State Council for Minors Funds holds its 83rd session with its new formation

The Council for the Guardianship of Funds for Minors and Their Equivalents held its regular meeting in its eighty-third and first session with its new formation, headed by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Chairman of the Council, in the presence of Judge Isa Al-Mannai, Deputy Justice and Islamic Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, which was held today, Monday through visual communication technology, His Excellency the Minister of Justice praised the efforts of the members of the State Council over the funds of minors during the previous session, which contributed to the approval of many important initiatives aimed at diversifying the investment basket and raising the value of capital in the long term and increasing income through Distributing profits to the accounts of minors, most notably the partnership with the private sector in managing a financial portfolio, managing real estate and using specialized auditing firms.

His Excellency the Minister of Justice said that cooperation with the private sector establishes a new stage of developing the efficiency of services provided to minors, especially in the investment field, in order to achieve the best returns for the benefit of minors' legacies and support the requirements of their future.

The head and members of the state council for the funds of minors and those of similar status expressed their deep appreciation to Counselor Wael Boualai, the first public attorney at the Public Prosecution, for the tangible and fruitful efforts he made in serving minors during the period of his appointment as Attorney for Justice and Islamic Affairs, wishing him success in his duties in the Public Prosecution .

The meeting discussed topics on the agenda of minors' affairs and those of similar status and took the necessary decisions in their regard.
