5/30/2020 “Justice” issues a guideline for the online legal litigation service


The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments has issued a comprehensive guide for the online legal litigation service that the Ministry provides through the national e-government portal www.bahrain.bh.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Courts Affairs and Documentation at the Ministry, Muhammad Abdul Rahim Bujairi, said that the guide has been prepared to be more comprehensive to introduce the steps of using electronic services in a practical manner, in order to enhance ease of use.

He praised the efforts of the Information and eGovernment Authority and the continuous technical support it provides to judicial development projects by employing modern technology means to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and facilitate them in front of lawyers and litigants.

For his part, the Director of the Courts Administration, Nayef Al-Thawadi, said that the guide used to file a legitimate lawsuit electronically includes a detailed explanation of the service of filing legal cases of all degrees, in addition to the service of submitting requests before the courts during the course of the case.

Al-Thawadi stated that the Ministry has provided lawyers' offices with an electronic copy of the guide, and that the guide is also available on the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments website www.moj.gov.bh.
