His Excellency the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, emphasized the role of the lawyers and their outstanding contributions to the establishment of justice and the rule of law.

This came during the meeting of His Excellency the Minister of Justice with the President of the Bahrain Bar Association, Lawyer Hassan Bedaiwi, and the Chairman of the Judicial Aid Committee, lawyer Sanaa Bouhammoud, members of the committee, and a number of lawyers.

His Excellency the Minister of Justice appreciated the efforts of the Judicial Aid Committee, the chairman and members, and all the lawyers assigned to defend before the courts, for their keenness to carry out the responsibility of defense based on protecting the right to a fair trial and safeguarding its guarantees.

His Excellency the Minister of Justice said that the participation of lawyers in attending and pleading before the courts through legal aid, free of charge for those who prove their inability, embodies the solemn message of the legal profession.

His Excellency the Minister of Justice distributed certificates to the lawyers, in appreciation of their role and efforts in serving justice.
