Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Affairs, affirmed that the issuance of the royal pardon decree by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, represents an extension of His Majesty's humanitarian initiatives and his keenness on consolidating social stability and upholding human rights

The Justice Minister lauded the royal pardon which included 1584 inmates, noting that it was a reflection of His Majesty's approach, Al Maawda said.

The Justice Minister also commended the support provided by the government, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for developing and enhancing rehabilitation programmes for inmates and their reintegration, while simultaneously providing them with fresh opportunities to actively contribute to Bahrain's progressive journey towards growth and development.

This approach is a manifestation of the leadership ideals of His Majesty the King, which continue to inspire and guide the nation towards a brighter and more inclusive future, the Justice Minister concluded.
