6/3/2021Justice: documented more than 72,000 transactions in 2020

The Assistant Undersecretary for Courts Affairs and Documentation at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Muhammad Abdul Rahim Bujairi, revealed that 72,254 transactions were documented during the year 2020, of which 36,552 were carried out by the Documentation Department through all its branches, and 35702 were completed by private notaries.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Courts Affairs and Documentation valued the partnership with the private sector in providing documentation services, which has transformed the level of responding to the requirements of this vital sector and absorbing this large number of transactions, indicating that the number of notaries affiliated with the Documentation Department currently stands at (16) documenters, while the number of Licensed private notaries (66) are notarized, of which 53 are for Arabic, and 13 for English.
Boujeri said that attracting a number of distinguished legal competencies has contributed to achieving tangible success in enhancing documentation services, raising performance efficiency, and providing more rapid and flexible options in terms of the possibility of completing these transactions during and after the official working hours and in the various governorates of the Kingdom.
