His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect him, received a congratulatory cable from His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, in which he conveyed to His Majesty the most sincere congratulations and best blessings on the occasion of awarding His Majesty an honorary doctorate. From the Board of Trustees of Moscow State University of International Relations, in appreciation of His Majesty’s role in promoting peaceful coexistence and dialogue between different religions and cultures.
In his telegram, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments stressed that this celebration of His Majesty's awarding of an honorary doctorate from this ancient Russian academic edifice is an embodiment of His Majesty's contributions to encouraging dialogue of civilizations, openness to cultures, upholding common human values and promoting tolerance and peace.
