22/8/2021 Minister of Justice Congratulates on the Anniversary of the Founding of the Supreme Council for Women

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the Supreme Council for Women.
His Excellency the Minister of Justice stressed the impressive success story presented by the Supreme Council for Women, as this occasion comes to highlight two decades of remarkable achievements in supporting and empowering Bahraini women, in light of the unlimited support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect him. His patronage, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
His Excellency said that since the issuance of the Royal Decree in 2001 to establish the Supreme Council for Women, the Council has provided a pioneering institutional model in the field of supporting women, which has won international recognition for its outstanding contributions to the march of women in the Kingdom of Bahrain and its modern renaissance, where Bahraini women have been efficiently presented. And Eqtdar, has played remarkable roles in all national work sites, and left its mark in various development fields.
His Excellency commended the contributions of Bahraini women in all fields of judicial work, as they assumed the position of the judiciary, and strengthened their presence in the legal profession, as well as their distinguished role in various functions of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments to be an example of perseverance, excellence and success, and the major contributions they made to the development and modernization witnessed by the sector Justice, especially at the level of digital transformation.
His Excellency the Minister of Justice valued the partnership between the Ministry and the Supreme Council for Women, which contributed to strengthening the family protection system, as the Council’s continuous support and support had a prominent role in making important strides in this regard, in addition to contributing to promoting equal opportunities and integrating women’s needs, in fruitful cooperation with The Supreme Council for Women.
