The State Council inspected the funds of minors and the like, the work site of the Marbad Garden Villas project affiliated to the Department of Minors’ Affairs and Funds, located in the Jasra area, with the aim of identifying the stages of the project’s progress according to the specified time plan.
The Council held its nineteenth exceptional session at the work site, headed by Judge Issa Al-Mannai, Undersecretary of Justice and Islamic Affairs, DeputyChairman of the State Council on the Funds of Minors and the Like, in the presence of the members of the Council, Mr. Reda Farag, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Hawaj, Mr. Jassem Al-Mahzaa, Mr. Abdul-Jalil Al-Hayiki, Mr. Ali Al-Khazali, and the Director of the Department of Funds and Minors Affairs Mr. Ahmed Khairy, the Secretariat and a number of Ministry employees.
The council was briefed on the presentation of the project manager, Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Kooheji, representative of Esnad Contracting Company, where he reviewed the project implementation plan, its stages and the works completed to date, in addition to reviewing the next stages to be implemented during the coming period according to the approved time schedule for the project, which confirmed that the completion rates are ahead of what is planned. It has reached 10.87% to date. Then, he accompanied the members on a field tour at the work site, during which he briefed them on the achievement of the project’s phases and developments and expected to be accomplished during the coming period as stipulated in the work plan.
The launch of the Marbad Garden Villas project was previously announced, with the efforts of the Department of Minors’ Affairs and Funds, and with the continuous sponsorship and supervision of the State Council on the funds of minors and their like, by exploiting the land located in Al Jasra area owned by the administration, which began preparations for it since 2019 with the aim of investing it in a way that achieves the best returns. For the benefit of the estates of minors and those in their rulings and to support the requirements of their future, as work on the implementation of the project began in early May 2021, and the entire project is expected to be delivered in March 2023
