His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, received, in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters, Ms. Maryam Al-Ruwai, Director of the Tafaouq Advisory Center for Development, Dr. Abdul-Jabbar Al-Tayeb, President of the Bahraini Jurists Association, and Dr. Fahad Al-Shihabi, President of the Bahraini Public Relations Association, on the occasion of the approval of The United Nations Economic and Social Council, in its session held in New York on July 21, 2021, on the recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organization Affairs to grant their organizations the consultative status of the Council.
His Excellency the Minister of Justice expressed his sincere congratulations to the Center for Excellence in Development, the Bahraini Jurists Association, and the Bahrain Public Relations Association, for obtaining this international trust, which reflects their efforts in community service.
His Excellency Sheikh Khalid said that this appreciation embodies the role of civil society institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the contributions they make to the national building process, stressing the ministry's readiness to provide all forms of support and assistance to their efforts at the local and international levels.
