The legislative and executive authorities held a joint meeting today via remote visual communication technology, chaired by His Excellency Mrs. Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the presence of His Excellency Sayyid Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, to review the strategic initiatives of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments to enhance access to justice (2021-2025).
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Mr. Ghanem bin Fadl Al Buainain, Minister of Shura and Parliament Affairs, Chairman of the Shura and Parliament Affairs Committee, and His Excellency Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Information, and their Excellencies members of the Bureau of the Shura and Representatives Councils, to review the initiatives proposed by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments to enhance access to justice (2021-2025), within seven axes with the aim of stimulating an environment for access to justice outside the framework of the courts, from Through the development of non-dispute legal mechanisms that depend mostly on the consent of the parties, with the involvement of the private sector centrally.

Her Excellency affirmed the Parliament’s readiness to study all future plans and projects of the state ministries within the framework of exercising its legislative and oversight role as stated in the National Action Charter and the Constitution, and the Parliament’s keenness to discuss ways to provide and improve services, and participate in developing perceptions related to initiatives and projects presented by the government and enacting laws and legislation with a view to Realizing the hopes and aspirations of citizens.
