His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the International Federation of Judicial Commissioners Conference under the slogan “Digital Justice.. New Opportunities for Judicial Enforcement Officers”, which is held by Dubai Courts under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, and lasted for four days in the city of Dubai in the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
Many permanent members of the International Union of Judicial Police Officers, which includes 93 full members with 6 observer member states, participated in the conference, as this international gathering in Dubai is considered for the first time at the level of the Middle East and North Africa, with the attendance of more than 500 participants from different countries of the world.
The Minister of Justice met with His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, where they reviewed the existing areas of cooperation in the judicial and legal fields.
In addition, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, visited the Dubai Courts, and was received by His Excellency Tarish Eid Al-Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Courts, where he was briefed on a presentation on Dubai Courts, their features and the development they witnessed, especially on theat the level of electronic transformation.
His Excellency Sheikh Khalid praised the organizational level of the conference and the discussions and research proposals that it witnessed, stressing the importance of the topic of the conference and these visits in promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the judicial and legal fields, including those related to judicial officers and the enforcement sector. As well as the great progress that the courts of the sisterly Emirates are witnessing in judicial and judicial procedures, and the great development of the Dubai Courts in the use of digital technology.
The accompanying delegation includes the Undersecretary of Justice and Islamic Affairs, Judge Issa Sami Al-Mannai, and Director of the Office of His Excellency Hamad Ali Haji.
