29/1/2022 Justice: Opening the door for receiving applications for licensing to practice the work of a private notary for the fifth batch

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments announced the opening of the door to receive applications for the fifth batch of those wishing to be licensed to practice the work of a private notary for the Arabic language, who meet the prescribed conditions, from 1 to 17 February 2022.
And the Assistant Undersecretary for Courts and Documentation Affairs, Muhammad Abdul Rahim Bujairi, stated that the applicant is required to be a Bahraini, not to hold a job with others, to have spent at least 4 years in legal work, and not have his name crossed out from the Register the private notary, and provide a place to practice documentation work, and the applicant must pass the prescribed exams, interviews and training programs.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Courts and Documentation Affairs also stated that the ministry will receive requests for those wishing to license to practice the Arabic language by a private notary, by filling out the form prepared for this and published on the ministry's website www.moj.gov.bh, and sending it via e-mail:
notary-applications@moj.gov.bh, together with a copy of the Bachelor’s degree in Law or its equivalent, and a copy of the certificate of practicing legal work for a period of no less than 4 years.
In accordance with the decision on regulating the work, obligations and penalties of a private notary to carry out notarial work, a private notary may perform all or some of the documentation acts stipulated in the law, provided that the Documentation Office of the Ministry of Justice is responsible for technical, financial and administrative control over the work of the private notary.
