The Director of the Courts Department at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nayef Khalifa Al-Thawadi, stated that the Sharia Procedures Department completed about 18,000 transactions during the year 2021, which included the issuance of marriage contracts documents, divorce documents, and other relevant transactions, in addition to certificates, testimonials, true copies and a replacement for lost .
The Director of the Courts Department also indicated that more than 8,000 transactions have been completed by the Sharia Research Department, as this section specializes in issuing documents related to statutes, gifts, wills, age, endowments, and legal exchanges.
Al-Thawadi stated that the ministry, since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, began receiving applications related to legal procedures and legal research via the approved e-mail, where the specialized employees begin to review the applications and ensure that the required documents are completed, and then submit them to the competent court to take action in this regard, provided that the documents are issued Legitimacy required after the completion of judicial procedures.
He stressed the priority of working to raise the efficiency of judicial services and the continuity of their provision through electronic means, within the framework of the ministry's strategy aimed at ensuring the continuous development of the judicial support services.
