6/2/2022 General Registrar: 94% of lawyers are committed to the decision and guidelines

The Registrar General of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Salman Al-Amiri stressed the importance of the role of law firms in establishing the rule of law, praising the efforts of lawyers in the field of combating terrorism crimes, money laundering and the illegal transfer of funds across borders.
The Registrar General revealed that the percentage of lawyers who fulfilled the requirements of the procedures established for combating money laundering, terrorist financing and the illegal transfer of funds across borders amounted to 94% of the total of lawyers to whom the decision and relevant instructions apply.
Al-Amri indicated that the office continues to communicate with the offices of the lawyers to emphasize the obligation to abide by the stipulations and guidelines established in this regard and to urge them to continue to achieve the necessary requirements for proper and serious application.
