2/6/2022 The Minister of Justice receives the Advisor for Religious Affairs at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs‎

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, received at the Ministry’s headquarters today, His Excellency Ambassador Jean-Christophe Boussel, Advisor for Religious Affairs at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Jerome Cochard, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom, on the sidelines of his visit To the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the “Expanding the Horizon… Freedom of Religion and Belief” conference, which was organized in cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union and recently hosted by the Kingdom.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries on issues of common interest.
During the meeting, the Minister of Justice praised the level of the close friendship relations between the two friendly countries and the continuous progress they are witnessing in all fields.
The Minister of Justice gave a presentation on religious freedoms in the Kingdom of Bahrain and its initiatives in interreligious and intercultural dialogue, which stem from the belief in the importance of promoting a common understanding of freedom of religions and beliefs and consolidating the values ​​of moderation and a spirit of openness.
