His Excellency Mr. Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, received in his office today Mr. Abdul Hakim Yaqoub Al-Khayat, Managing Director and CEO of Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain).
During the meeting, aspects of continuous and fruitful cooperation were reviewed and ways of enhancing it were discussed, within the framework of partnership with private sector institutions, to support the charitable and humanitarian work in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the Minister of Justice expressed his thanks and appreciation for the contributions of the Kuwait Finance House Group in supporting charitable projects implemented by the Zakat and Charity Fund, which had a great impact on the implementation of a number of the fund's targeted programs.
Al-Maawdah stressed the importance of strengthening the principle of social solidarity and its role in enshrineing the values ​​of cooperation, synergy, compassion and friendship in society, which are among the noble purposes urged by the true Islamic religion.
