His Excellency Mr. Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for General Supervision of Election Safety, affirmed that the upcoming elections for the sixth legislative term constitute a promising democratic stage in light of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Great Country. This came on the occasion of the issuance of the royal order regarding setting the date for elections and candidacy for membership of the House of Representatives, where His Excellency the Minister added that this high royal order comes to reaffirm that the Kingdom is under the leadership of His Majesty the King, may God support him, and with the support and support of His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister. May God protect him, moving forward in consolidating democratic life, by enhancing the participation of citizens in exercising their constitutional right to choose their parliamentary representatives.

His Excellency the Minister of Justice stated that the wisdom of His Majesty the King and his firm belief in popular participation provided the solid ground for the continuity of the progress and success of the democratic path at a steady pace, saying, “Building on what has been achieved under the state of institutions and law is the firm approach of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and in this path the election of the House of Representatives was formed. A national station in which citizens look forward to active participation, realizing the importance of preserving national gains and contributing to their strengthening.

His Excellency also indicated in this regard that setting the date for nomination and election for municipal council membership comes as an affirmation of the importance of the role of municipal councils in the democratic march of the Kingdom and their contributions to construction and development, pointing out that organizing the electoral process in the Kingdom of Bahrain under full judicial supervision is the strongest guarantee for the integrity of that The elections take place in the light of transparent and impartial procedures, thus consolidating democratic principles that guarantee citizens to exercise their constitutional right to choose their representatives in the House of Representatives.
