The Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the twenty-fourth meeting of the undersecretaries of the ministries of justice in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, with a delegation headed by Judge Issa Sami Al-Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs, which was held recently in the city of Riyadh in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting discussed a number of topics, foremost of which is the draft agreement to extradite accused in the GCC countries, the draft agreement for the implementation of judgments, rogatory commissions and judicial declarations in the GCC countries, and the extraction of legislative principles contained in the regulations (laws), and the draft unified system (law) to combat extremism, racism, hatred and discrimination. In addition to a number of topics of common interest.
The ministry's delegation included Ms. Lubna Abdel Aziz Al Mousa, Director of the Documentation Department, and Mr. Jassem Hassan Buhamoud, Director of the Implementation Department, a member of the Committee of Officials of the International Cooperation and International Relations Departments in the Ministries of Justice in the GCC countries.
