21/8/2020 Planning Undersecretary at the Ministry of Justice: The Supreme Council for Women has entrenched the Bahraini model in foreign forums

The Undersecretary for Family Planning, Conciliation and Expenditure at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Member of the Supreme Council for Women, Professor Dana Khamis Al-Zayani, raised the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of the monarch of the country, the President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, on the occasion of the nineteenth anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Council For women.

Al-Zayani said that the Supreme Council for Women has achieved a qualitative leap in society in general, and for the Bahraini family in particular, through its pivotal role that established the Bahraini model in foreign forums and became, with the grace of God and its success, a home for experience transcending national borders.

Al-Zayani emphasized that the Supreme Council for Women is a key component of the Bahrain Grand Team through its efforts and its support for the team within the National Plan for the Advancement of Women, and the Council has played an important role within the national campaign to address the Coronavirus through its humanitarian campaigns, especially the campaign "Together ... for the Safety of Bahrain" And which was praised and appreciated by all.

She mentioned that the Supreme Council for Women presented pioneering projects that contributed to achieving more family stability and in line with the privacy of Bahraini society, pointing to the package of initiatives that the Council presented in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the most prominent of which is the opening of branches of the Family Reconciliation Office in the regions of Muharraq and Sitra, and so on. The opening of the two branches contributed to efforts to settle disputes, to complete more cases of family mediation and reconciliation, and to achieve the signing of consensual reconciliation between the parties before entering the courtroom.

She mentioned that the Supreme Council for Women has harnessed its energies and efforts for the sake of developing the Bahraini family, and that constructive and fruitful cooperation with the executive and legislative authorities has contributed to launching many important initiatives and issuing legislations that contribute to more rights and guarantees for the Bahraini family in general and for women and children in particular.

Al-Zayani mentioned that the Council’s decision to celebrate the annual celebration of Bahraini women through Bahraini Women’s Day on the first of December of every year represents a renewed light for Bahraini women in various fields and fields, noting the official and popular interest in the annual celebration of this occasion dear to the hearts of all Bahraini women.

She pointed out that Her Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa award for the advancement of Bahraini women has greatly contributed to creating a spirit of constructive competition among government, private and private agencies and individuals in order to obtain this award, which reflects Bahrain’s transition from the stage of empowering women to the stage of women's advancement and what it implements is different.
