Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, received Sheikh Abdulrahman Kujović, Grand Mufti of the Sandžak region in Serbia and Sheikh Kamal Mahmudović, President of the Islamic Community Council (Medžlis) in Sjenica and Chairman of the Imams' Council in Sjenica.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Adel Abdulrahman Al Maawda, Shura Council member, and Saleh Ibrahim Al Fadhala.

The minister commended Sheikh Kujović’s efforts in promoting Islam and the principles of moderation and balance.

He highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between the ministry and Serbia’s Islamic institutions to serve Islam and Muslims.
